Cold weather can wreak havoc on our skin. But fear not we are here to help. As we know dry skin can deflect UV rays and affect your tanning results. So, look after your skin to keep that summer glow feeling all year round.

Moisturise: Winter’s dry and cold air will take its toll on your skin so moisturising daily will benefit your skin. It will also help your tanning results. Always use a UV specific lotion when having a sunbed session. This will support your skins hydration and can improve your tanning results by 50%*. We would always recommend moisturising your skin after a sunbed, our favourite is Hemp Nation tan extender which is available to buy in our shops.

Hydrate. Always think about looking after your skin from the inside out. Drinking plenty of water can help hydrate your skin. We would always recommend you drink water both pre and post your tanning session. Also try one of our Tanning Boost shots before your session. Tanning Boost are packed with essential vitamins and tan enhancing ingredients which will not only boost your tanning results but improve your skin condition over time. Available to buy in our shops.

Exfoliate: Gently exfoliate your skin regularly. But remember it is recommended that in the winter you take shorter cooler showers. Hot showers can dry out your skin so moderate the temperature to protect your skin’s moisture.
