Your Step-by-Step Spray Tan Journey
Exfoliate, shave, and moisturise 24 hours before your appointment. On the day, avoid deodorant, perfume, lotions or makeup.
In your private room, undress and apply barrier cream to your hands, elbows, knees, and feet. Put on your complimentary hair net and sticky feet.
Press the start button and follow the guided voice instructions inside your automated tanning booth.
When your session ends, step out carefully and change into dark, loose clothing. The booth’s drying cycle means you don’t have to wait to get dressed.
Allow your tan to develop for 6-8 hours before showering or exercising. Moisturise daily with an oil-free lotion to keep your tan looking even and radiant.

How Long Does it Take for a Spray Tan to Develop?
Our standard solutions develop fully in 6-8 hours. Norvell formulas can be rinsed off after 6 hours, but they continue to develop over 24 hours.
How Long Does a Spray Tan Last?
Typically between 4 and 7 days, provided you follow proper preparation and aftercare.
How Soon Can I Shower?
Allow your tan to develop fully before showering (6-8 hours).
Can I Spray and UV Tan on the Same Day?
Yes. If you’d like both, we recommend completing your UV tanning session before your spray tan.
How Do You Prepare for a Spray Tan?
For a long-lasting, professional spray tan, we recommend following these simple steps:
- Exfoliate and moisturise your skin 24 hours before your appointment.
- If you plan to shave or wax, do this 24 hours before your session.
- Ensure skin is clean of lotions, deodorant, perfume, and makeup on the day of your appointment.
- Apply barrier cream to dry areas (hands, feet, knees, elbows).
- Wear dark, loose-fitting clothes to avoid colour transfer and uneven colour development.
